My unborn babies

I recently found some old projects of mine. Exercises … stillborn babies from a few years ago. And I got a little emotional :-)

I appended them together in a new project. This is the result.

This is the result: robots, a creature, an alien, an alien computer, horses and all kind of people: a farmer, an indian, a black man...

"What's Happening Over There?" - I thought this was a nice composition. I came upon it by chance while playing with these old projects.
Very simple but beautiful, I think. I rendered it right away. Hope you like it too.

That tall skinny guy in the middle, did you recognize him? Yes, Stromae ! :-) He is a compatriot of mine.
I wanted to make a short animation of him. But I was still too inexperienced at the time, I got stuck in the middle of the modeling process ...

That old muscular guy right behind him, that was my superhero. I usually don't like super tough superheroes, but this one would be a kind of friendly parody... maybe I'll develop it further one day... it would be a shame if I reveal too much already.

And those horses! I spent a lot of time on that too! I was mainly looking for a specific horse, but I couldn't decide which one was the right one. I kept on varying! Lots of variations on a theme...

That horse was initially intended for my Indian short film. (I made this overview to make my choice easier. Not that it really helped!)
There's something special about this perspective... right?

And finally, that robot on the far left has been my avator on BlenderNation for a long time. I was addicted to BlenderNation for years!
I followed all the news, so I didn't have any time left to blender myself! Bit of a shame,... it was stronger than me.

I needed that to keep up with the new developments, I thought. In the past there were too few tutorials, but now... too many???
Blender actually develops and changes too quickly for someone my age. I sometimes forget faster than I learn, you know! :-)
